Sandy is a parishioner at St. Rose/Mission of the Good Shepherd with a Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She is employed by Mending Hearts Family Services, a Christian Counseling agency in central Phoenix, and will be working on our main campus and/or Mission of the Good Shepherd a few days a week to provide discounted counseling services for parishioners. Sandy has also received advanced training and certification in Spiritual Direction from The Redemptorist Renewal Center in Tucson.
Her experience includes working under the supervision of the Director of Counseling at The Franciscan Renewal Center and is passionate about integrating Christian based principles into her work. She meets with those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, challenges with life transitions, and those who desire to work through issues which may be interfering with fulfilling their life purpose.
